Hi-watari (Firewalking)
(The city of Hachioji, Tokyo on Mar.13)

The temple called Yakuoin in the City of Hachioji, Tokyo has Hi-watari (firewalking) on the second Sunday in March every year. (Mar. 12 this year) This ceremoney has been handed down among Yamabushi and now it is a tourist event held all over japan. General people can join the Hi-watari in Yakuoin.
