Oshichi, a 16 year-old daughter of the vegetable store, located in the present Hongo, Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo, was burned alive cause of the guilty of setting fire. This picture is the grave of Oshichi at Hakusan, Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo. As Oshichi engaged people's sympathy, she appears in the work of Saikaku Ihara(1642�`1693), and in a drama.
