Nebuta 2
(May 10, Yokohama-machi, Aomori-ken)

Nebuta festival in Aomori-shi is held from Aug.2 to 7 in every year and 3.5 million people are expecting to see. They put hundreds of lights(they used candles before)or lamps on the framework and cover with papers, then draw a picture on Nebuta. A large Nebuta is more than 5 meters high. More than 20 units of Dashi parade in the Nebuta Festival in Aomori-shi and over 1000 people follow Dashi with dancing, playing the flutes and the drums.
