Kingmaker, Kasugano-Tsubone

The photograph shows a statue of a lady named Fuku, called Kasugano-Tsubone afterward. She was born as a daughter of Saito Toshimitsu in 1579. In 1582 there was an big event which Akechi Mitsuhide, chief retainer killed Oda Nobunaga who was just about to dominate the society competing each other tor power over 100 years. Toshimitsu was a chief retainer of Mitsuhide. Mitsuhide's troops were soon conquered by Toyotomi Hideyoshi's and Toshimitsu was also executed. ( Toyotomi Hideyoshi is a chief retainer of Nobunaga ) Fuku was taken in by one of her mother's relatives after she escaped all over with her mother and others.
