Inubo-saki(Inubo Point)
(June 2, Choshi-shi, Chiba-ken)

Inubo-saki, facing on the Pacific Ocean, in Choshi-shi, Chiba-ken is the place to see the earliest sunrise on New Year's Day in Japan. And it is famous for its lighthouse built in 1874 and still working. There is also a 10 kilometers long cliff surrounding the seashore in Inubo-saki. Choshi-shi, blessing with temperate climate, is famous for producing soy sauce and a fishing port.
