The Pier
(July 13, Chuo-ku, Tokyo)

The pier is made of steel and fixed. It is 2.85 meters wide and 24 meters long. The Tokyo Government built this pier because people couldn't use transport facilities on the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake in 1995. The Government is expecting to build another 40 piers arranging for disaster in future.
