Oga-hasu(Lotus) Bloomed From The Seed Of 2000 Years Ago

@This picture, Oga-hasu bloomed at the Zencho-ji(temple) in Kawagoe-shi, Saitama-ken. @In 1951, three lotus seeds and wooden boats seemed to be from the ancient, was found at seven meters underground. The seeds were cultivated by a scholar of lotus, Dr.Ichiro Oga and one of them bloomed in the next 1952. This was named Oga-hasu and the seed seemed to be from about 2000 years ago. We can see Oga-hasu in every place now. @Hasu is the plant of its strong hold on life and there are other examples that seeds bloomed hundreds of years or more than 1000 years later.
