Tama New Town
(Sep. 4, Hachioji-shi, Tokyo)

The new business facilities are located in Tama New Town 30 ` 40 km away from the center of Tokyo. Tama New Town was started to build as a bedtown of Tokyo about 30 years ago. The population was expecting to be 300,000 people, but only about 200,000 people are living now. Because of recession, the price of land went down and houses located in the convenient metropolitan are popular in these days, that makes the situation more serious for Tama New Town.
