Closing Sale at Tokyo Branch of Sogo

A closing sale has started at the Tokyo Branch of Sogo, a department store in turnaround management on Sep.3. About 40,000 visited the department store on Sep.3 and the sales for the day came to nearly 400 million yen, record proceeds for one day. It is estimated there will be 500,000 to 600,000 visitors and 1.5 billion yen of sales during a 15-day sale until Sep.17. The photograph shows how the store was at the opening time on Sep.3.
