Scarecrow Kitty


　A scarecrow of a cat on the photo is a charactor of "Hello Kitty" called Kitty-chan.
　A company named Sanrio put it on sale even 24 years ago. It handles its charactor stationery and toys for girls. Kitty-chan made a big hit at that time and now is in the middle of the second boom.
　Kitty-chan is a cat girl who was supposed to be born in London in England on Nov.11th 1974, and weigh as much as about 3 apples. The other things are set. For example, her charactor, her favorite things, her family members, and her friends.
　For little girls today, Kitty-chan is really new and women who were children when it was on sale, get their own children Kitty-chan goods. Sanrio made a great success reviving other charactors which were also popular at the same period.
