@A memorial service for dolls was held at Kaneiji Temple, located Ueno Park in Taitou-ku, Tokyo. Originally, people dedicate dolls as a token of their gratitude when they realized their wishes; they had a baby, they had an easy delivery or their children grew up in a good health and hold such a memorial service. But now, they take various kinds of dolls which they have been playing or living with, to the temple.
