@Shichi-go-san and Chitose-ame always go together. Chitose-ame is a candy stick and used to be sold by a red and white candy stick set.
@The combination of red and white is used for a happy event and Chitose means in 1000 years old, that is, a long life. Parents deal out Chitose-ame to their neighbors.
