A Kite
(Taitou-ku, Tokyo)

@This street stall sells kites. Takoage (Kite-flying) and Hanetsuki (a battledore) are traditional plays of Shogatsu (New Years Day).
@A kite flying high in the sky, floating on the wind is also a symbol of prosperity. People play Hanetsuki to drive out an evil spirit. Hagoita is a bringer of good luck.
