The Goal

One of the important points of this Campaign is being thorough to fasten a seatbelt and promoting to fix the childseat. We ought to fasten a seatbelt, but according to the research of JAF (Japan Automobile Federation) in 1998, the rate of drivers' fastening seatbelt is 78.5% and 58.9% in the passenger seat. While the rate of fixing the childseat, which is not under compulsion, is only 8.3%. (There is a big difference between the report of Prime Minister's Office and that of JAF's in 1997.) We will be under legal obligation to fix the childseat in next spring, at the earliest.
