Please enjoy the sound.
The Shinto ritual is held at the Okuzawa Shrine in Setagaya-ku, Tokyo every September 14. People walked in a parade with the big straw figured snake on their shoulders. In the middle of the Edo period(from the first of 17 century to the mid-nineteenth century),an epidemic broke out around this area. People made a big straw figured snake and walked in a parade following the divine revelation. Then the disease came to an end and this Shinto ritual has been continuing on every September 14 since then.
