12th International Optical Fair Tokyo

The largest scale exhibition of glasses and sunglasses in Asia was held from Oct.6 to 8 in Koto-ku,Tokyo. In Japan, one of three persons need glasses in their late teens cause of nearsightedness. It is reported that the number of Japanese user of glasses have reached a half of the Japanese population(about 60 million) including the user of farsightedness. The market of Japanese glasses and contact lenses really make a profit nearly 900 billion yen. The glasses in the picture were made for the commemoration of the year of 2000 and the both ends of the temples are shaped into "2" and "0".
