Monument of Oath

Nearly 2000 people domestically have been infected with HIV virus due to the medicine used for a treatment for hemophilia. This medicine which is a blood product has continuously been used as safe even after a hazard of getting infected with HIV from it was made clear. The monument in the photograph was built in front of the Ministry of Health & Welfare in Chiyoda ward, Tokyo this August. It is inscribed on the monument that they will make efforts not to commit the same error again reflecting on the incident.
