The Second Runway
(Dec.3, Narita-shi, Chiba-ken)

On Dec.3, the construction of the second runway resumed at the Narita Airport after an interval of six years. The Narita Airport, the entrance of the sky in Japan, but its overcrowded airplane schedule has become a problem cause of only one runway. The construction of the second runway was interrupted because of the consultation with the opposition faction. But it started again to be in time for the World Cup of soccer held in Japan and Korea in 2002.
